Howdy ya’ll
My name is Brandon Lyon, and I’m a product designer with 12 years of experience based in Northwest Arkansas. Our area has provided a launchpad for my career in product design across a range of industries including retail, social/e-commerce, hospitality, T&L, and big data. My time with Walmart Labs, RevUnit, and UniGroup has fueled my passion for producing simple, delightful, and dynamic user experiences across a variety of hardware, product ecosystems, and environments. For the past 6 years, I’ve thrived in agile, empowered teams, designing end-to-end tools for B2B and B2C. I’m a strong voice in the room, enjoying the company of business, engineering, and product partners from the get-go. I pride myself on an Art of the Possible mindset, designing for the now and beyond. Leading design in teams and solo, I love to see where user and business needs intersect and diverge. I met the COVID-19 era head-on, designing and researching in-person and remotely, and have thrived in remote, in-person, and hybrid working capacities.

01 - Plan, research, and explore
Understand user needs, market trends, and project goals through research, competitor analysis, and user insights. Define the problem and establish a clear design direction.
02 - Ideate, prototype, and test
Develop wireframes, sketches, and prototypes to explore possible solutions. Iterate on concepts, gather feedback, and refine the design to ensure usability and effectiveness.
03 - Launch, monitor, and refine
Collaborate with developers to bring the design to life. Test and refine the final product based on user feedback, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience.
